Founder & Lead Designer

Alice Cramer

Alice Cramer opened her Atlanta design practice in 1993, and in the more than thirty years since, she's built a body of work that spans the country, from historic estates in need of a thoughtful update to contemporary homes built for the way people actually live today. Her process starts with listening. Long before a fabric swatch or paint chip enters the conversation, Alice is asking how a family moves through their home and what "comfortable" actually means to them. That gift for translation, turning a client's instincts into a fully realized space, is the through line clients consistently point to when they talk about working with her.

The results resist easy categorization. Alice's interiors are elegant without ever feeling stiff — rooms polished enough for a dinner party, relaxed enough that nobody's afraid to put their feet up. Her signature move is the unexpected juxtaposition: high and low, formal and casual, heirloom and contemporary, paired in ways that feel considered rather than accidental. Above all, her projects are personal and built around the art, colors, and family pieces her clients already love. The finished homes Alice designs feel unmistakably like the people who live in it: intentional, layered, and made to be truly used.
